The fastest-selling solo artist in music history, Garth Brooks has sold more than 100 million albums in just ten short years. Yet Garth is much more than just a record–setting artist. His easy-going demeanor and rock-star charisma is matched only by his willingness to take chances others do not dare attempt.
Consistent with a tradition of leaving his own personal imprint on the world, Garth started the Teammates for Kids Foundation to provide much needed monetary support for children's charities. The Foundation enlists the participation of professional baseball, hockey, and football players who make financial contributions commensurate with their own athletic performances.
Garth's Foundation holds an annual appreciation party to thank all of the generous Teammates -- including athletes, corporations and individuals -- who offer their support. In addition to a heart-warming weekend filled with stories of courage, compassion and commitment, it also happens to be the one time each year a now-retired Garth performs publicly. Our role was to capture the memories and create a custom pictorial book to commemorate the weekend. For us, it was not only a unique opportunity to be a part of the team, but also a great privilege to honor Garth's Foundation.
